1. Taxonomic Status
Legítimo® represents an autonomous mutation line of Cannabis sativa L.
Molecular analyses clearly confirmed:
Pure Cannabis sativa – no Humulus genetic contribution.
Due to its extreme leaf architecture, the line was morphologically misinterpreted during early observation phases. Genetic investigations, however, unequivocally verified its placement within the genus Cannabis.
2. Mutational Character
Legítimo® represents a structural mutation within Cannabis sativa, characterized by:
modified leaf architecture
variable segmentation patterns
unusual internodal structure
elevated morphological plasticity
